Q: Can’t we just have them killed?

A: No. Killing a honeybee colony leads to other issues within the structure, due to the mass of dead bees, eggs, larvae, pupae, honey, and pollen that are stored within the comb. The stench of this decay becomes unbearable and leads to other pest such as roaches, mice, rats, small hive beetles and wax moths. Also, they are a vital part of the ecosystem as pollenators.
